Gran Melia Arusha is looking for highly qualified and motivated candidate to be recruited as Guest Experience Manager. The position holder will report directly to the General Manager.

You will be Responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Melia Hotels International standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Guest Experience Manager will facilitate exceptional guest Experience throughout their stay in the hotel and after the departure. Will audit and monitor service standards; analyze findings and produce reports in relation to the quality of service to both internal and external guests in order to ensure high standards of service. Will control the day to day operation of the Guest Experience in order to provide an effective, efficient, courteous and friendly service to all our guests. 

Requirements

  • Tourism/Hospitality Studies or similar
  • Minimum 1-year experience in similar positions in direct contact with the client.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Hotel operation
  • Mastery of the tools linked to the GEX department.
  • Professional English
  • Mastery of the Office package
  • High customer orientation, creativity, detail orientation, enthusiasm, dynamism, proactivity, teamwork and high capacity for influence.
