Assistant Night Manager 


Hotel: INNSiDE by Melia Newcastle, UK

Position: Assistant Night Manager (Reception / Front Office)  

Salary: up to 21,500 per annum

Job Summary: The Assistant Night Manager will deputise for the Night Manager, ensuring an overall smooth running of the department during night hours, ensuring the complete satisfaction of guests.


Duties include:

  • Ensure the night audit is completed with accuracy
  • Complete duty management shifts 
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and security of the hotel during night hours
  • Manage any complaints including noise complaints proactively and effectively 
  • Complete any additional tasks as set by the Front of House and Night Manager

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally Supervisor or Night Auditor in a hotel environment
  • Opera PMS experience (not essential) 
  • Excellent and effective communicator
  • Problem solving and complaint handling skills
  • Experience training and developing a team in internal processes
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Team player
