Sales Manager - INNSiDE Newcastle

INNSiDE by Melia are excited to be expanding their UK presence into Newcastle in Autumn 2020, and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join the team in readiness for opening. Reporting to the regional Cluster Director of Sales, this is a key role for the business and will involve implementing and coordinating Sales activities according to the commercial strategy and hotel action plan, to ensure the hotel achieves bugeted goals. There will be a particular emphasis on the relevant market segments of the hotel; corporate, business travel, MSM (Meetings and Conventions) and leisure.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Proactive relationship Management
  • Account development plans
  • Rate negotiation
  • Research, identify, and engage with new potential accounts for the relevant market segments
  • Drive new sales opportunities through local market knowledge, competitor research, sales leads
  • Work with the hotel team’s to encourage sales leads

 

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the local market, with similar experience in a hospitality Sales role and an established network within the City. If you are a results-oriented and self-motivated individual with an ability to effectively communicate, influence, and motivate others to hit targets, you possess a university degree in hospitality, business management, or similar related field (or equivalent experience), and you are excited by the prospect of joining a global organisation expanding one their exciting brands in the UK, please apply.
