Main Duties:

  • Liaise with colleague on preceding shift and check log hand over information and action accordingly.
  • Carry out daily fire, life and safety checks as detailed in the department’s Policies & Procedures manual.
  • Check Hotsos or Engineering Job Log and action outstanding issues.
  • Input all non Hotsos generated work requests reported to you into the Hotsos system and record actions and status.
  • Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance duties as directed by your supervisor or managers.
  • Promptly advise your supervisor or managers of any serious problems or failures together with any relevant information to aid follow up.
  • Liaise with external contractors when required.
  • Record in the log book all relevant information, information required for follow up of any outstanding issues or incidents that may have arisen on your shift; carry out hand over procedures with colleague on following shift.
