Job Summary: In this position, you will assist the Financial Controller on a daily basis.Your main mission will be to identify and coordinate all administrative and financial areas. In addition to that, you should make sure that the daily & monthly recording of the revenues and costs are done in a timely & accurately. Furthermore you will be in charge of internal & external reporting and will assist in having a smooth finance operation in the hotel.


What will I be doing?

  • Managing the day to day accounting tasks
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Banks reconciliation
  • Handling the VAT, municipal and corporate tax matters
  • Handling INTRASTAT declaration
  • Compliance with MHI procedural rules
  • Assisting the FC in the monthly closing
  • Assisting the FC in preparing the financial statements under IFRS
  • Assisting the FC in the annual budget preparation
  • Liaising with other members of the team when necessary
  • Cooperating to fulfill the departmental objectives
  • Replacing the FC in absence
  • Manager on Duty by rotation
  • Any task requested by the employer related to the position


What are we looking for?

  • Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar role
  • Degree or equivalent in the business studies or hotel management
  • Profound knowledge of Accounting principles as well as conceptual and analytical skills
  • English is a must. Any other language (French, German or Spanish) is an asset.
  • Established knowledge of SAP, Opera, POS & MS Office.
