MISSION: To ensure the proper implementation of any changes, maintenance and constant support with regard to any applications used in hotel operations as well as the infrastructure that supports them. This applies to all the hotels in their area of responsibility in line with the standards defined to optimise and effectively use computer systems for the direct benefit of both of the hotels and corporate offices.

 

What will I have to do?

 

  • Implement opening, disaffiliation and takeover responsibilities, providing on-site support during the different stages of the projects
  • Provide support for the IT services in hotels, managing the day-to-day operational requirements
  • Participate in and monitor the implementation of projects or strategic services in the IT area, providing support to the HS function
  • Manage IT service contracts for hotels, guaranteeing compliance with the standards defined by MHI and standardisation in the area.

 

  • Supervise compliance with agreements, propose improvements, support the procurement area to ensure the application of the approved and updated technical criteria
  • Ensure compliance with the controls required by IT audits carried out in the business units in the operations centre

 

  • Ensure compliance with PCI policy and the MHI regulatory framework
  • Supervise IT preventative maintenance and follow up on any proposed changes or improvements

 

  • Supervise the preventative and corrective maintenance of computer equipment in person to avoid failures that would impact hotel operations in general.
  • Provide support for training in computer systems
  • Provide support to technology service providers during any on-site tasks for hotels in the operation centre
  • Ensure continuity in the use of clickon as the IT service support tool, ensuring the correct resolution of any requests or incidents
  • Ensure compliance with PCI and Secure Mail policies and any other policies in the IT security regulatory framework for all business units in the operations centre
  • Assist hotel staff in order to improve and optimise the use of computer systems

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
