Job Summary:

As a Group Sales Manager, you are leading the Meeting & Events team. You maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of meetings, events and group reservations by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

 

What will I be doing?

  • You will manage the Group, Meeting & Events team.
  • Responsible for the fulfilment of Group Business budget (rooms + events revenue) for INNSiDE Amsterdam.
  • You and your team manage the group requests and provide an accurate quotation. You will action all RFP’s, proposals and all other necessary organizing tasks (BEO’s, Invoices etc.) to organize a smooth arrival for our guests.
  • You will analyze all requests and distribute along the team and define adequate actions to achieve every single business opportunity.
  • You will manage the hotel PMS system and make sure that all data related to groups are updated in the CRM and Sales database.
  • Regularly prepare group production reports and participate in business review meetings.
  • You and your team will create contracts and execute invoices & payments as well as handling all correspondence with clients.
  • You will ensure all negotiations, contracts and credit policies are all aligned with the policies and procedures established by MHI.
  • You will conduct site inspections with clients.
  • You will work closely with different departments mainly Sales, Revenue, F&B & Front office. You report directly to the Director of Sales.
