MISSION: Responsible for the preparation of reports commissioned by the Sales Management, for the prospecting, evaluation and control of corporate, individual and agency clients. Provide efficient, timely, and confidential administrative support that contributes to the achievement of the Sales Directorate's objectives.

 

OPERATIONS

-  To prepare the Gift Certificates requested by the different areas of the hotel, authorised by the General Management.

-  Prepare the reports requested by the Sales Management.

-  Assisting the DOS with admin duties.

-  General and travel agenda.

-  Coordination of the Sales Management's travels.

- Perform and carry out special tasks when requested by Sales Management.

- Maintain excellent communication between the members of the Sales Management, achieving an optimal teamwork in a harmonious way. 

-  Support Sales Management with established travel procedures such as Cash Advance, Expenses and Representation Policy, Expenses Settlement. Travel and Representation Expenses procedures will be facilitated by Sales Management.

- Responsible for making and controlling the payment of invoices for the Sales department.

- Perform and carry out special tasks when requested by Sales Management.

- Comply with the rules, policies and procedures of the Hotel.

-  Know, respect and comply with Meliá Hotels International's policies on sustainability.

- Perform other related and complementary tasks related to the position.

 

SUSTAINABILITY

- Ensure metering of energy and/or water consumption for charging to the lessee (if applicable).

- Give visibility to sustainable attributes in the customer relationship (under the instructions of the marketing & branding department).

- Ensure sustainability communication under criteria of truthfulness, rigour and coherence.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: University Degree in Tourism, Business.

LANGUAGES: Local language (depending on the geographical location of the property) and advanced English. A third language would be an asset.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge, PMS (Opera Cloud, Sihot) CRM Focus User level knowledge in Office package. Ability to work in a team, organisation, planning, results oriented.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience in a similar position.
