Main Duties:


    • To assist in recruiting, selecting, inducting, appraising and developing all new staff within the department as per the Company’s guidelines. 
    • To give full commitment in developing and keeping up to date the departmental S.O.P. Manual.
    • To be involved in all aspects of training within the department, including on the job training, evaluation and all the recording of all training records.
    • To ensure that improvements in the Restaurant are on-going and consistent, including operational effectiveness.
    • To be an effective team leader in the department and to ensure efficient control on costs at all times.
    • To ensure that staffing levels are adapted to meet business demands and the payroll costs kept within the agreed budget. To ensure that a weekly rota is completed by Wednesday of every week using the correct template provided in the general shared drive on the computer available for use.
    • To display excellence in all communications methods, both formal and informal, written and verbal
    • To handle guest and customer complaints with precision, speed and in a professional manner.
    • To assist F&B management with the drink & food menu planning, including cost analysis.
