Job Summary: We are looking for a Reception Supervisor to join our team of passionate individuals in Meliá White House Hotel. You will lead and supervise the daily shift on Reception, ensuring both Receptionists and Cashiers carry out all duties to the required standard and that all guests are attended to with the utmost courtesy.

 

 

What will I be doing?

 

  • Ensure that all guests are met at Reception with courtesy and that any complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently with guidance from the Reception Management team
  • Ensure the hotel’s credit procedure is adhered to at all times, with guidance from the Reception Management team if required.
  • Assist the Reception Management team in the implementation of new procedure and co-ordination of training
  • Keep in close contact with Housekeeping and Concierge throughout the shift to follow through all special requests made
  • To be fully aware of all Reception/Cashier’s procedures and manual procedures
  • Make all staff on duty aware of the daily availability and overbooked situations if applicable
  • Act in accordance with the hotel’s fire procedure in the event of a fire
