We are looking for Front Office Manager - Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat

 

Mission:

To manage the operations of the Front Office Department by ensuring product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to all hotel guests according to the hotel’s business objectives.  To perform the human resource function in ensuring staff selection, training, counseling and recognition programs are adhered to in order to maximize performance standards and to adhere to guest service standards in order to maximize guest satisfaction. 

 

Main responsibilities:

1. Make sure that all the FO Department follow up theirs  Standard and Procedures and to to ensure optimum occupancy and average room rate for the purpose of maximizing revenue
2. Monitor Front Office, and particularly Guest Relations personnel, to ensure priority members known repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition
3. Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities and monitors Front Office Marketing techniques and  upselling  in line with FIT marketing program and maintain inter-departmental relationships to ensure seamless customer service
4. Assume overall responsibility for maintaining standards to ensure furnishings facilities and equipment are clean, in good repair and well maintained
5. Works with superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget
6. To manage the recruitment, training and development of the staff according to the human resources procedures and the quality guide.

 

Main requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international hotel brand as supervisor or 2 years exp as assistant manager.
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to effectively manage complaints and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software (e.g. Opera PMS)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese, both written and verbal
  • Ability to train and develop the team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Familiarity with local area attractions and knowledge of local cultures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cold weather in the North/mountain area of Vietnam.
