We are looking for a Sales Manager in charge of China market - Gran Melia Jakarta, Indonesia



Sales Manager mission is to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all Sales aspects of the hotel, with the ultimate goal of providing an exceptional guest experience. The Sales Manager plays a crucial role  in overseeing Sales departments and processes within the hotel to maintain high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Sales Manager has to orchestrate all  Sales elements harmoniously, ensuring an impeccable guest experience while maintaining the hotel's reputation for luxury, elegance, and exceptional service. This involves overseeing departments, managing staff, optimizing processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency especially for the corporate Chinese market


Main responsibilities:

•    To meet and improve upon all agreed financial targets within the department
•    Always looking for exceed the expectation for our guests base on standard for product, staff productivity, and Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel’s image building  toward customers
•    Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new corporate China Accounts
•    Participates in sales calls as individual or with sales team member to maintaining, engaging, improving values or acquire new business
•    Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (make an appointment, customer correspondence, generating proposal , writing contract, report, invoice)
•    Delegates or participates in delivering service excellence through each customer experience of stay


Main requirements:

•    Excellent command of English and Mandarin.
•    Creative leader who will be able to implement out of the box ideas and solutions
•    Familiar with Chinese working culture
•    Knowing a passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
•    Very Organized and Detail
•    Ability to work under pressure and under own Initiative
•    Knowing about marketing plan, business plan, commercial strategies, negotiation skills

•    College degree preferably specializing in hotel management or business administration, or equivalent 
•    Proven working experience as Corporate Chinese Sales Manager with track record on the 5* hotel business
