Sales Manager - ME London

 

Mission: As the responsible Sales Manager for ME London, this role requires multi segment experience and the ability to capture, develop and retain high end accounts through carrying out the actions established in the sales action plan to achieve and exceed the quantitative and qualitative objectives defined in the hotel's Business Plan

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Supervise and ensure the implementation of the High-End sales strategy in the Premium hotels in the sales area.
  • Manage local accounts not assigned to Account Managers.
  • Promote hotels to local accounts along with global MHI programs and tools such as MeliaPro Rewards, TravelLabs, etc.
  • Sign up new local accounts and generate new business opportunities for the company. Coordinate with Sales Development so that accounts can be assigned for those accounts in which there is greater potential for other destinations/hotels
  • Receive and manage requests from account customers (from their assigned segments, geographical areas or sectors) and respond to those requests (coordinating with the Account Manager if it is an assigned account)  
  • Ensure the correct preparation and implementation of sales site inspections of all types and for all segments in the hotels in the sales area.

 

What you require:

 

  • A track record of sales achievement with at least 2 years’ experience in the service and hospitality industry is essential for this role.
  • A track record of Luxury Sales segment.
  • You will have strong strategic planning skills, ability to look ahead and strategies in place to support the plans.
  • A degree of knowledge of all market segments i.e. corporate, conference and leisure is crucial.
  • You should have a well-developed commercial acumen and ability to take calculated risks.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are key.
  • It is essential that you can work well under pressure, with minimal supervision and maintain high standards and attention to detail.
  • Microsoft package skills and Opera knowledge desirable.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.

 

The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
