Shift Engineer

 

Mission: To carry out the maintenance, repair and installation of all mechanical structural and domestic fitting and fixtures throughout the Hotel.

 

 Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·      To manage, repair and redecorate the assigned floors.

·      To check all appliance pertaining to fire and health & safety on a weekly basis.

·      Carry out all administration duties to show a record of all works carried out on a day-to-day basis.

·      Implement and maintain all energy saving devices, in collaboration with the Chief Engineer.

·      Record all materials used and inform the Maintenance Office of any spares and materials required.

·      Adhere to the company 10 minute response, to a guest related maintenance request.

 

What we are looking for?

·      Qualification in at least one of the maintenance trades & previous experience in Hotel Maintenance.

·      Great customer service & communication skills.

·      Proactive and positive personality

·      Flexibility, ability to respond quickly and positively to customers’ and hotel’s needs.

·      Great team-player with ability to show co-operation and support to colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
