Mission of the Position: Supervise the operation of the service in the area assigned (Restaurant, Bar, Breakfast, Events), ensuring compliance with the procedures and quality standards in the service offered to the customer, as well as promoting the sale of food and beverages, all to increase revenue and achieve the operational, economic, quality and human resources objectives of the hotel.

 

Job Summary: To manage properly all the activities related to F&B Supervisor position for INNSiDE Milano Torre GalFa

 

What will you have to do? 

  • Plan the work of the restaurant staff in their sector based on the work forecast, the existing occupancy and the forecast of the respective period.
  • Organise, train and supervise the personnel under their charge in compliance with the policies and procedures of discipline, appearance and personal hygiene, rotas, transit areas and safety standards established by the hotel and the corresponding health authorities.
  • Ensure that the staff under their supervision comply with the departmental management's instructions regarding the assignment of tasks and duties established for each of them. Assist their line manager in administrating personnel by established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in briefings at the beginning of each shift to check the presentation, uniforms and hygiene of the staff under their supervision and to receive information on any absences, VIPs, groups, events, general comments and exchange of opinions.
  • Monitor the performance of waiters and assistants, ensuring that they comply with the service procedures (breakfast, buffet, lunch or dinner), taking care of the details of service etiquette and providing the customer with professional and careful attention.
  • Ensure that communication between the kitchen and the waiters is correct and efficient to maintain good service and coordination.
  • Be knowledgeable of the department's budget.
  • Is knowledgeable of the department's economic performance.

 

What are we looking for:

  • Prevoius experience in a similar role in hotels with different F&B Outlets (Restaurant, Bar, Banqueting and Room Service);
  • Leadership and people management skills;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
