Receptionist (Maternity Cover – 12 months)

 

MAIN JOB PURPOSE: To provide an efficient and courteous service to guests at all times.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Be fully conversant with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Deal with any guest requests during pre-arrivals and throughout their stay, ensuring the information is communicated and/or recorded accurately.
  • To promote and upsell additional services on check-in.
  • Adhere to all hotel credit policies, taking care with payments and seeking support from the departmental leaders when necessary.
  • Observe all security and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Answer all telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Know the current day’ availability.
  • Enrol guests to the Melia Rewards program and explain the benefits of joining.

What are we looking for? 

  • Experience in a related activity 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Knowledge of the Opera system

 

The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
