What will I have to do?
- Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities within the hospitality sector.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Participate in sales calls, client meetings, and networking events to promote Meliá Athens.
- Contribute to preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Coordinate group bookings and events, ensuring seamless communication between departments and clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new strategies for market penetration.
What we are looking for:
- Studies in Tourism or Business or Marketing and Sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both verbal and written. Any other language would be an asset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems (experience in hospitality software is a plus).
- Previous experience in Group Coordination / Event Coordination would be an asset.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic sales environment.
