Mission:
Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager, and within the limited of established Melia hotels policies and procedures, provides supportive functional assistance to all departments; interact with guests and members of the community. Coordinates with all departments in the hotel. Promote the desired work culture and values of trust, integrity and respect, following the Melia Brand ethos.
What will you do?

Act as the Manager on Duty, supporting Front Office and assisting all departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Handle guest needs, complaints, and special requests; provide personalized service for VIPs and loyalty members.

Supervise Front Office staff, ensuring service standards, appearance, and conduct are maintained.

Inspect front and back of house areas for cleanliness, safety, and readiness.

Monitor billing, credit, discounts, and revenue control to protect hotel profitability.

Ensure staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations are carried out effectively.

Assist in workforce planning, recruitment, and induction of new employees.

Support budget preparation and monitor departmental costs.

Promote hotel services and maximize sales opportunities.

Ensure compliance with emergency, safety, and occupational health procedures.

Record and report incidents, accidents, and security issues as required.
What are we looking for?

College degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Front Office or supervisory role, preferably in an international hotel.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and guest service skills.

Good command of English (spoken and written); additional languages an advantage.

Proficient in PMS and MS Office applications.

Ability to handle pressure, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions.

Knowledge of hotel operations, safety, and emergency procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and service-oriented attitude.
