Missions:

Oversee the administration, operation, and profitability of the Fitness Centre and Recreation activities.

Drive guest engagement through fitness, leisure, and entertainment programs (sports, music, cultural, and social activities).

Promote Melia’s values of trust, integrity, and respect while fostering a fun, inclusive, and inspiring environment.

What will you do?

Deliver and supervise fitness training, sports coaching, and wellness programs; provide assessments and personalized plans for guests.

Design, organize, and oversee a diverse calendar of recreational activities (fitness classes, poolside games, live music, cultural workshops, themed events, kids’ activities).

Ensure entertainment and activities align with guest profiles, expectations, and brand standards.

Lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service, innovative ideas, and memorable experiences.

Maintain all recreational facilities and equipment, coordinating with Engineering for preventative maintenance.

Manage membership sales, renewals, bookings, and guest inquiries while ensuring smooth operations and cost control.

Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly, implementing corrective actions and training where needed.

Actively promote retail, wellness, and activity-related services to increase revenue opportunities.

Maintain visibility and build strong relationships with guests and local patrons, creating loyalty and repeat visits

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Sports Science, Recreation Management, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recreation, fitness, or activities management within a resort, cruise, or hospitality environment.

Proven ability to design and deliver diverse recreation and entertainment programs (sports, wellness, cultural, music, and kids’ activities).

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multicultural teams.

Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with focus on safety, service quality, and cost control.

Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations for recreation and leisure facilities.
