Your task:

  • Planning, organization and management of sales activities and sales promotion measures, in particular for the Corporate Travel and Leisure segments in close cooperation with the regional sales team in Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin, Wolfsburg and Prague
  • Significant involvement in the definition of sales targets and the strategic orientation of the hotels to achieve the corporate sales targets for the relevant segments according to budget specifications
  • Participation in the development of sales strategies
  • Building customer relationships, acquiring new customers and retaining existing customers
  • Presenting the company at industry-relevant events, trade fairs and congresses as well as customer meetings in the region
  • Participation in the preparation of the budget and the sales action plan
  • Regular participation in meetings such as the weekly business review for the hotels in the region
  • Conducting sales meetings, price negotiations, market analyses and other reports
  • Coordinating and organizing the daily activities of the team
  • Representing the Director of Sales in his absence

 

your profil:

  • Successfully completed vocational training in the upscale hotel, catering or tourism industry
  • At least two years' experience at management level or in account/sales management
  • High level of market expertise - experience in the local and international hotel market, knowledge of the hotel market in the region to be filled is an advantage
  • very good knowledge of German and English, knowledge of Spanish and/or other foreign languages is an advantage
  • Structured and organized way of working
  • assertiveness, strong communication skills, sense of responsibility and quality awareness
  • Eloquent, professional and engaging demeanor
  • commercial thinking, combined with flexibility and a “thinking out of the box” mentality
  • a positive charisma, which is reflected in your well-groomed appearance

  • Results and solution-oriented working style
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office, knowledge of Opera PMS and Mars
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, aplomb, persuasiveness
  • High level of motivation, willingness to make decisions, sense of responsibility, integrity
