Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bell Boy to join our team at [Hotel Name]. The Bell Boy will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by assisting with their luggage, directing them to their rooms, and offering information about hotel amenities and local attractions. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and eager to create memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Assistance: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with luggage handling, and escort them to their rooms.
- Room Setup Assistance: Ensure that guests have everything they need upon check-in, such as room keys and information about hotel amenities.
- Hotel Navigation: Direct guests to various hotel facilities (restaurant, spa, conference rooms, etc.) and provide information about services and events.
- Transportation Arrangements: Assist guests with their transportation needs by driving the hotel’s vans, ensuring safe and timely travel to and from designated locations.
- Guest Requests: Handle requests for additional items (e.g., extra pillows, towels) and ensure that guests’ needs are met promptly.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that all luggage carts and bellman areas are organized and kept clean.
- Security: Safeguard guests’ property and report any lost items or suspicious activities to security.
- Assist with Departures: Help guests with check-out, carry luggage, and ensure a smooth departure experience.
- Promote Services: Inform guests about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance their stay.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the front desk, concierge, and housekeeping to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Italian Drive License B
- Ability to work efficiently and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Languages: Proficiency in Italian and English, is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Appearance: Well-groomed, professional appearance, adhering to hotel uniform standards.
