We are looking for Beach Club General Manager ( Lay Beach Club) - Melia Pattaya
Misison:
The Beach Club General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the beach club, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, safety, and satisfaction. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, organizing a varied and interactive entertainment program, managing a diverse team, enhancing the guest experience, and ensuring the club meets its financial goals. The General Manager will also collaborate with other departments to create a seamless and unforgettable experience for all guests, while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.
Main responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Management:
o Oversee and lead a team of beach club staff, including supervisors, waitstaff, maintenance, and guest services personnel.
o Provide regular training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure exceptional service and teamwork.
o Foster a positive, high-energy, and collaborative work environment.
• Operations Management:
o Manage daily operations of the beach club, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services to guests.
o Maintain a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
o Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols for safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
o Monitor inventory and manage procurement of supplies, ensuring the beach club is always stocked with necessary resources.
• Guest Experience:
o Ensure that guests have a memorable and exceptional experience by providing high-quality service and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.
o Create and execute unique and innovative programming or events that enhance the beach club experience (e.g., beach parties, live music, themed events).
o Maintain strong relationships with VIP guests and members, ensuring their needs are always met.
• Financial Management:
o Develop and manage the beach club’s budget, including forecasting and cost control.
o Monitor financial performance, including revenue generation and expenses, to meet or exceed budget targets.
o Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales and increase profitability.
• Health & Safety Compliance:
o Ensure all safety protocols are followed and emergency response procedures.
o Comply with local regulations, including health, safety, and environmental laws.
o Monitor and enforce all policies regarding guest behavior, alcohol service, and other beach club activities.
• Marketing & Promotions:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the beach club, events, and special offers.
o Build brand awareness and drive attendance through social media, partnerships, and community engagement.
o Develop and execute seasonal and themed promotions to attract new and returning guests.
Main requirements:
• Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in a beach club, resort, or similar leisure environment.
o Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
o Strong background in budget management, cost control, and revenue generation.
• Skills:
o Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
o Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
o Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
o Ability to work well under pressure, particularly during peak seasons.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (experience with POS systems is a plus).
• Education:
o A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
o Certification in first aid, CPR is a plus.
• Personal Attributes:
o Energetic, approachable, and personable with a passion for the beach lifestyle and delivering great guest experiences.
o Strong work ethic with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
o Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed
