About the Hotel
Hotel Melia Durrës is a luxurious beachfront resort offering world-class hospitality services to our esteemed guests. With a focus on providing exceptional service and memorable experiences, we are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and driven individual to join our team as a Bartender.
Mission
To prepare and serve beverages of the highest quality while creating a welcoming, engaging, and memorable experience for all guests, ensuring smooth bar operations and adherence to brand standards.
What will you have to do?
- Prepare alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks following recipes and presentation standards.
- Welcome guests at the bar and provide friendly, professional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and tools.
- Check stock levels, refill supplies, and report shortages.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and follow safety and hygiene regulations.
- Upsell beverages and promote specials or signature cocktails.
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system.
- Communicate guest preferences and feedback to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory control and prevent waste, breakage, or loss.
- Participate in briefings and training sessions as required.
What we are looking for?
- Previous experience as a Bartender or similar role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Team player with good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Basic POS and cash‑handling skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (Spanish, German) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
