Mission:

Guide guests through yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditation practices that promote relaxation, flexibility, and overal well-being.This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to helping others achieve a balanced and peaceful mind-body connection in a high-end, hospitality environment. 

What Will You Have to Do?

• Lead dynamic and tailored yoga classes for hotel guests, ensuring that the experience aligns with the luxury, comfort, and relaxation standards of Hotel Meliá.
• Offer a range of yoga styles (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, etc.) based on guest preferences and wellness goals.
• Design personalized yoga programs for guests, including individual sessions, group classes, and wellness retreats.
• Demonstrate yoga poses and breathing techniques, making adjustments and providing guidance to ensure proper alignment and safety.
• Promote mindfulness and relaxation through guided meditation and breathwork during or after yoga sessions.
• Adapt yoga practices for guests of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, and provide modifications for guests with injuries or physical limitations.
• Create a peaceful, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere, enhancing the guest experience at Hotel Meliá Durrës.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized yoga space, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in excellent condition.
• Stay current with industry trends, new yoga practices, and professional certifications to ensure the highest quality service.
• Provide feedback to guests to help them deepen their practice and achieve their personal wellness goals.

What Are We Looking For?

• Certified Yoga Teacher (200-hour RYT or higher) from a recognized yoga school.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience teaching yoga.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting, offering wellness services would be an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of yoga styles, techniques, and principles, including proper alignment and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to adjust classes to suit guests’ fitness levels and individual needs, including those with injuries or special requests.
• Strong passion for wellness and helping others achieve balance, flexibility, and peace.
• A calm, patient, and professional demeanour, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of wellness trends and an interest in the overall guest experience in the hospitality industry.
