About the Hotel:
Hotel Melia Durrës is a luxurious beachfront resort offering world-class hospitality services to our esteemed guests. With a focus on providing exceptional service and memorable experiences, we are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and driven individual to join our team as an Hostess.
Mission:
To warmly welcome guests, coordinate seating, and support the Food & Beverage service team in ensuring a smooth, pleasant, and memorable dining experience in the assigned outlet(s).
What will you have to do?
- Greet and seat guests with professionalism and friendliness.
- Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waiting lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess desk and entrance area.
- Communicate guest needs, preferences, and special requests to the service team.
- Support daily briefings and follow instructions from the Head of Department.
- Provide information about menus, hotel services, and experiences.
- Assist in handling guest inquiries and minor complaints, escalating when needed.
- Ensure brand standards and service quality are consistently applied.
What we are looking for?
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest‑facing roles (preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and a warm, welcoming attitude.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy periods.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy; reservation system knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (Spanish, German) are an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
