Mission:

Responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision and analysis of results in all the hotel operational departments, guaranteeing their profitability, maximizing in-house revenue and ensuring Brand NPS compliance and customer satisfaction. Directly manages the hotel employees and customers, ensuring compliance with Meliá Hotels International policies and procedures and the goals and objectives defined by Hotel Services.

 

What will you have to do?

  • Develop and implement the hotel's vision and action plans.

  • Participate in executive and positioning meetings.

  • Lead the hotel's Annual Action Plan and operational excellence.

  • Represent the hotel before official bodies and integrate sustainability strategies.

  • Manage technical incidents and coordinate resources.

  • Oversee the Preventative Maintenance Plan and hygiene audits.

  • Supervise accommodation and food & beverage areas.

  • Participate in budget preparation and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety programs and operational audits.

  • Align with commercial strategies and implement sales actions.

  • Supervise action plans for social events and support the sales team.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction during group stays or events.

  • Implement brand programs and ensure compliance with SOPs.

  • Manage guest experience and customer service.

  • Identify key partners and manage relationships with outsourced partners.

  • Ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention and safety policies.

  • Implement and ensure compliance with the loyalty program.

  • Manage sustainability indicators and projects.

  • Manage relationships with tenants and ensure compliance with leasing agreements.

  • Search for optimization opportunities to maximize profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.

  • Participate in risk assessments and manage occupational safety responsibilities.

What are we looking for?

  • University diploma / degree, preferably in Tourism (or equivalent Hospitality and Tourism studies).

  • High level of English (verbal and written) is mandatory.

  • Hostess profile, person be able to be front the operations and guest focus.

  • Warm and dynamic person.

  • Attention to detail & a passion for excellence.

  • Demonstrate ability of Human Resources Management.

  • Knowledge of IT tools used in hotel management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Able to work with an Operations Center. 360 degrees of Hotel Operations knowledge.

  • Functional knowledge of all department operations.

  • International experience is preferred.

  • High geographical flexibility is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hotel Manager or Resident Manager.
