Mission
To provide a warm welcome, assist guests with luggage and transportation needs, and ensure smooth and friendly arrival and departure experiences. The Luggage Porter/Doorman supports guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards, ensuring safety, and offering helpful guidance throughout the guests’ stay.
What will you have to do?
- Welcome guests at the hotel entrance with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure.
- Escort guests to their rooms when required and explain room features.
- Ensure the hotel entrance, driveway, and lobby areas are clean, safe, and well‑organized.
- Coordinate luggage storage and retrieval following established procedures.
- Assist guests with transportation needs, taxi requests, or airport transfer information.
- Maintain communication with Front Desk and Guest Experience teams regarding guest arrivals, VIPs, and special requests.
- Help manage door traffic and ensure smooth flow of guests.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, entertainment, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures at all times.
- Participate in briefings and departmental training sessions.
What we are looking for?
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, or similar roles (preferred).
- Strong customer service skills and a polite, welcoming personality.
- Excellent communication abilities and a guest‑focused attitude.
- Good physical condition and the ability to handle luggage safely.
- Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy times.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (Spanish, German) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
