MISSION: Adhering to the philosophy, policies, procedures and quality standards established by Meliá Hotels International, the person responsible for generating new sales of the Circle product will act as a vacation advisor, adopting a dynamic and flexible approach in each of its Commercial Conversations. With attention and care, he/she will explain in a logical and structured way all the necessary information about the Circle product, highlighting its attributes, benefits and advantages. In each presentation, you will ensure that MHI's own highest standards of quality, credibility, and consistency are maintained.

General:

 

  • Responsible for the presentation of the Circle product to customers interested in learning about the benefits and advantages offered by Circle by Meliá. Her/His role will focus on advising and motivating customers to acquire the membership, using practical demonstrations on the use of the membership, always with the aim of representing the brand according to the established standards. In addition, he/she will be responsible for offering an optimal treatment to customers, ensuring that all interactions remain aligned with the company's policies and guidelines, to protect and promote the brand's reputation.

 Job Functions:

  • Attend business meetings every day.
  • Meet and exceed production KPIs (volume, average transaction, and close percentage) set forth in monthly and annual budgets.
  • Effectively use the systems and tools available for the sales process (Salesforce, TSW or the one indicated).
  • Actively participate in promotional activities and events organized by the company for sales purposes.
  • Know in depth the benefits and characteristics of the product/service in order to be able to transmit them clearly and effectively.
  • Have an accurate command of product pricing and its updates to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Have complete mastery over the contractual terms and conditions associated with membership, to provide accurate and transparent information to customers.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate advice on product use.
  • Detect sales opportunities and work strategically to ensure a successful closing, customizing the proposal according to your needs.
  • Possess effective communication and negotiation skills to facilitate the sales process.
  • Present the advantages and benefits of the product in a coherent and consistent manner, highlighting its value to the customer.
  • Provide personalized customer service both during the presentation and in any subsequent contact, if necessary.
  • Carry out an after-sales follow-up of customers during their stay to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Properly channel requests for reservations or membership use, contributing to the satisfaction of members through the correct delivery of the requested services, generating a My First Booking.
  • Efficiently manage sales processes, maintaining an organized and professional approach to the customer.

 

Compliance Sales Process or stages of the commercial conversation:

 

  • Raise awareness/welcome: Generate a positive first impression, capturing the customer's attention from the start.
  • Elevate Attention and Intent / Product Positioning: Elevate customer interest and highlight product advantages and attributes.
  • Demonstration with emotion and logic / Real-time exercises: Present the product in a dynamic way, combining emotional and logical aspects, with practical demonstrations so that the customer experiences the benefits.
  • Call to Action/Savings-Based Membership Proposal: Invite the customer to take action, presenting membership as a tangible savings opportunity.
  • Justify with emotion and logic / Explanation of benefits and incentives: Reinforce the proposal with a clear explanation of the benefits and incentives, appealing to both the client's emotion and logic.

                

         Resources:

 

    • Web www.Melia.com and Salesforce Management: Use these tools to effectively explain the benefits of the membership rate.
    • Managing the Circle by Meliá website and brochure: Presenting benefits by membership level and demonstrating the use of base weeks from the equivalency matrix to facilitate customer understanding.
    • Work tools: Have the necessary tools at hand to work more efficiently and orderly during the sales process.
    • Negotiation Model – Logic and Emotion: Use a combination of logical and emotional arguments to present membership prices, based on the projected savings for the customer with the payment plan options available.
    • Commercial concept: Conduct the business conversation in a casual and direct way, focusing on anticipating objections to make it easy for the customer to make the purchase decision.
    • Handling objections: Addressing customer objections using financial logic and other relevant arguments.

 

Sales closing

  • Sales documentation: In the event of a business closing, you will be responsible for completing the documents required for the preparation of the contract and the documents corresponding to the membership:
    • Worksheet
    • Understanding Quiz
    • Meliá Rewards
    • RCI Subscription
    • Special conditions: Move ins, Late Check-out, Dinners etc.
  • Communication with commercial administration: Coordinate with the administration team for the preparation of the contracts, ensuring that all previous documents are correctly completed for the preparation of the contract and other documents.
  • He/She will be in charge of the process of delivering documents corresponding to the acquisition of the membership, ensuring that the process is simple and agile.  This will allow the new partner to consolidate their purchase in a satisfactory way.

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree preferred in the following areas: Business Administration, Marketing, Social Communication and Public Relations.
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar position. Sales executive, Public Relations, customer service.
  • Flexible schedule is required; must be available to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.  
  • Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish and English. Other languages preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in software applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and reservations systems
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
