Mission of the Role: Coordinates the implementation of the Administration and Dry Storage processes for the hotel. Ensures the correct functioning and compliance with procedures, implementing the tasks delegated by the Area Business Partner.

 

Job Summary: to manage properly all the activities related to Financial administration.

 

What you will have to do?

  • Provides support to the General manager, analysing relevant information (financial or otherwise) and advising for operational departments;
  • Reviews with the head of department the budget guidelines to resolve any doubts;
  • Manages the preparation of the budget for the hotel following the Company budget guidelines;
  • Monitors the budget and reports any relevant deviation or incident to General manager and Area Business Partner;
  • Participates in the definition of corrective measures and monitors compliance with them;
  • Carries out local processes for the close of accounts in assigned hotels. Analyses and reports any deviation compared to forecasts;
  • Prepares forecasts for operational departments together with the General Manager;
  • Coordinates cash control activities, checking the general status of administrative processes;
  • Support the heads of department in the preparation of projections;
  • Applies the Hotel Management and Accounting rules, processes and procedures;
  • Receives a monthly copy of cash control reports for hotel and reports on any relevant incident;
  • Supervises and ensures the optimisation of cost items that affect the results of the hotel;
  • Analyses investment requests from business units, preparing Business Cases to determine their viability;
  • Monitors the projects carried out and investments made within their business units.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Economics (finance, business administration or accounting);
  • Very good English; the knowledge of a second foreign language would be a plus;
  • Proficient in Excel;
  • At least, 2 years of experience in a similar position.
