We are looking for Human Resources Manager - Melia Ba Vi Mountaint Retreat
Mission:
The mission of the Human Resources Manager is to create a supportive, compliant, and people-centered work environment that empowers all team members to grow and succeed.
At Meliá Ba Vì, this role bridges the warmth of Vietnamese culture with the professional standards of Meliá Hotels International. By leading all HR functions — from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, training, and welfare — the HR Manager ensures that every team member feels valued, respected, and aligned with the resort’s purpose.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead all core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, training & development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations.
- Manage staff welfare facilities including the canteen, dormitories, and partner with our onsite nurse to ensure team health and safety.
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and Meliá Hotels International policies.
- Drive employee engagement, performance, and retention initiatives that inspire long-term growth.
- Collaborate with department heads to support operational excellence through HR best practices.
- Maintain transparent and timely communication on all HR policies, including labor compliance, contracts, performance management, and employee relations.
- Administer payroll, reporting, compensation, and other employee lifecycle processes with accuracy and integrity.
- Guide disciplinary actions and counseling with fairness and in line with company standards.
- Partner with the Area HR Manager on initiatives, reporting, audits, and projects.
- Control HR department expenses and contribute to the annual budget planning.
Main requirements:
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Ability to deliver training presentations in a concise, well-organized manner.
- Good understanding of Vietnamese labor laws.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Honest, professional, and people-focused.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic HR software.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and able to communicate in English.
