We are looking for Cluster E-Commerce Manager - Melia Vinpearl South of Vietnam (based in Ho Chi Minh city)
Mission:
This position will be responsible to achieve the online sales target set-up for a designated group of Meliá Vinpearl Hotels in Vietnam, via planning, implementing, managing and monitoring of strategic plans of sales on digital channels including both direct website and third parties (OTAs), always in close coordination with the Regional E-Commerce team.
Main responsibilities:
Achieve the targets set by Cluster General Manager/ Cluster Director of Revenue in Business Plan
• Coordinate with Revenue Management team to manage Hotel room inventory rates to maximize/generate revenue
• Ensure accurate information of the hotel on website, OTAs on a weekly basis
• Monitor rate parity between the brand website and contracted OTAs, in coordination with Revenue Management team
• Analyze and to participate in different Global/ Regional/ Destination campaigns and promotions throughout the year
• Coordinate with Regional E-Commerce Manager to involve Hotel in Digital Marketing activities
• Monitor competitor's rates/packages on daily basis and propose ideals/offers/packages to be implemented to maintain market share
• Monitor hotel positioning and maintain best positions in OTAs
• Initiate and implement new concepts to optimize revenue from OTAs
• Manage the ongoing relationship with assigned OTAs partners including daily communication, periodic formal account wellness checks and ongoing revenue tracking
• Stay abreast of industry trends by attending industry conferences and seeking out advanced distribution knowledge
• Be able to adapt to industry changes as maybe from time to time if necessary
• Submit monthly plans and reports according to deadlines
• Maintain and update E-Commerce database monthly and send a copy to Cluster of Revenue Director/ Manager
• Attend the Business Review meeting as and when required
• Follow the company's "Code of Business Conduct", as well as other policies & procedures
• Protect company's reputation, ensure all the behaviors are complied with laws & regulations
• To perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner to achieve department objectives and any assignment by the Hotel management, Melia Hotels International, and/or his/her immediate supervisor
Main requirements:
At least 3 years of experience working with OTAs
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Sales and E-Commerce: Experience in sales strategies and E-commerce platforms
• Marketing: Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and campaigns
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
