We are looking for a Food & Beverage Partner Asia Pacific, based in our Corporate office of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam)!
Mission of the position:
Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage VP and to the Managing Director Asia Pacific, the Food & Beverage Partner Asia Pacific leads the F&B strategy in the region with the aim of optimizing revenues and associated costs for the F&B results in the region.
Some of the main responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing the F&B strategy in hotels under their responsibility through product and quality standards and culinary direction
- Responsible for supervising the F&B Hotel operation in the region.
- Responsible for the F&B P&L and achievement of the F&B KPIs in the medium and long term
- Responsible for developing tools and processes to facilitate centralized management.
- Supervises the preparation of F&B budgets
- Ensures compliance with F&B budgets and the achievement of budgeted profitability
- Responsible for defining the F&B Investment plan
- Validates the culinary direction, menu plans and the implementation of local concepts
- Responsible for adapting the product area in line with company standards, designing the process and validating market research and operational needs (on a macro level)
- Provides support in the initial stage of the pre-opening process for all the F&B area
- Shares responsibility for the development of the company’s F&B marketing strategy for all channels together with the Marketing team
- Validates the design of generic F&B-related communications, promotions and campaigns
- Shares responsibility with HR for the creation and implementation of the training plan for Hotel F&B teams
- Responsible for food safety (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
- Supervises the hygiene and HACCP controls in production centres
- Responsible for creating an F&B purchasing strategy in the region aligned with global objectives and adding value to the properties.
- Promotes responsible and sustainable dining options
Main requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar position in the international Hospitality industry.
- College level Diploma or Degree adequate to the position from a recognized University or Hospitality institution.
- Outstanding functional knowledge of all areas in the Food & Beverage Department.
- Good knowledge of IT tools used in the Hotel F&B environment.
- Excellent communication level in English is mandatory.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, very strong orientation to achievement.
- Outstanding leadership abilities. Excellent management of Talent & Cultural diversity.
- Good understanding of the Sustainability and the Environmental protection areas.
