We are looking for Legal Advisor Development APAC (based in Ho Chi Minh Corporate Office)

Main Responsibilities:
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on the legal terms and conditions of lease, management or franchise agreements related to new hotel projects (Hotel Operation Contracts) or hotel bars and restaurants (food and beverage outlets);
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on the legal terms and conditions of letters of intent, memorandum of understanding, technical advisory service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts or documents related to hotel development.
• Conducting legal due diligence process and support the Compliance department.
• Providing legal advice regarding existing Hotel Operation Contracts or related matters, as well as any other legal query related to hotel management services.
What Are We Looking For?
• Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in business or commercial law, ideally in the field of hotel management at an international level.
• Outstanding attention to detail when drafting and reviewing complex contracts in English and Vietnamese.
• A team player who can communicate effectively with professionals from various disciplines and nationalities.
• Motivated and capable of defending the interests of the Meliá Hotels International group in dealings with senior professionals of high rank and experience.
• Ability to make critical decisions in uncertain circumstances and reach creative and sustainable agreements to mitigate risks.
• A person who enjoys varied and demanding work.
• Proficiency in written and spoken legal English and Vietnamese.
• A professional eager to continue learning and developing their skills.
• Candidates who live in Ho Chi Minh City (or are willing to relocate there) and have availability to travel.
