We are looking for Training Supervisor - Melia Vinpearl South of Vietnam (based in Nha Trang)
Job description:
Annual Training Plan, Budget and Activities:
• Prepare the annual training plan and budget to submit to Cluster HRM.
• Support the implementation of the hotel annual training plan and coordinate invitations, documentation, organization and other needs to ensure their success.
• Implement development plans for employees/Service Leaders.
• Actively contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Training and Development strategy of the hotel.
Monthly Training Plan and Activities:
• Analyze training needs of the department by running the monthly meeting with departmental trainers.
• Assist in the detection and organization of legally required or other face-to-face training, coordinating all the documentation required to obtain any applicable grants or subsidies.
• Support in the organization of induction sessions for new employees, coordinating with the teams their attendance and regular performance.
• Ensure the training sessions are regularly and professionally conducted, including and not limited orientation, general training, skill training topics, simulation programs and language classes.
• Coordinate with requisitioning departments in the training of employees following the Hotel’s standards, policies and procedures. Assists staff in the skills development and evaluation of their training.
• Keep a set of SOP and P&P of each department in the HR department. Ensures new employees are well trained of SOP and P&P of his/her department
Other responsibilities of Training Department
• Review and establish effective business relationships with external training suppliers for the implementation of training strategy in accordance with business requirements of the hotel.
• Promote and facilitate cross training, job rotation, and multi skilling.
• Monitor L&D KPIs
• Take lead in organizing any social and staff activities in the hotel.
Main requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in Hospitality industry especially in large hotels or international companies
• At least 2 years of experience in HR or Learning & Development
• Fluent English
• Training Skills, Soft Skills, Basic Training Courses for hotel staff.
