We are looking for Housekeeping Manager - Melia Vinpearl Phu Quoc
Mission:
Lead and manage the housekeeping operations of a large-scale villa resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate all housekeeping functions across guest villas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain exceptional cleanliness and service standards.
2. Lead a large housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants, and laundry staff, ensuring optimal staffing, training, and performance management.
3. Develop and execute daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning schedules tailored to the high occupancy and operational needs of the resort.
4. Monitor and control housekeeping inventory, linen usage, and supplies, ensuring cost-efficiency while meeting guest expectations.
5. Ensure quick room turnaround and readiness in coordination with the Front Office and Maintenance departments, especially during peak arrival and departure periods.
6. Conduct regular inspections to maintain strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
7. Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, implementing corrective measures and service recovery when necessary.
8. Analyze operational performance, identify improvement areas, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
9. Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork within the housekeeping department.
10. Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives, energy saving, and waste reduction in line with Melia’s values.
Main requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in housekeeping management in large-scale resort/hotel operations, preferably with experience handling high volume and fast turnover.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and service excellence mindset.
• Proficient in Vietnamese; basic English communication is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per operational demands.
