Your Task:

• Coordination and organisation of all housekeeping tasks for the team and colleagues of our external cleaning company in the absence of the housekeeper
• Preparing the room lists and holding daily meetings with the external company to allocate the departure and departure rooms
• Checking cleaned and prepared rooms as well as pick-up, VIP, out-of-service and unoccupied rooms
• Checking cleanliness and, if necessary, assisting with the cleaning of public areas, catering outlets and the back of house part of the hotel
• Induction, supervision and support of trainees and new employees
• Training of in-house staff and external company employees in the absence of the housekeeper
• A hands-on mentality is important to you and you actively support your team, whether it's cleaning the rooms, the public areas or the back of house area
• Managing and issuing uniforms, including uniform inventory
• Carrying out regular rounds to ensure the cleanliness of the public areas including the lobby, restaurant, sauna and fitness room, underground car park, atrium and outdoor areas
• Cleaning of public areas, back of house and guest rooms, e.g. when changing rooms and late departures
• Distribution of clean laundry to all floors
• Stocking the minibars

• Experience in the hotel industry, room cleaning
• Initial management responsibility an advantage
