MISSION: under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, is responsible for the organization, responsibility and management of the entire housekeeping department, ensuring continuous compliance with all highest standards

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Achieve an efficient guest satisfaction in compliance with the highest standards

Ø Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring that standards of cleanliness and presentation are met

Ø Assist the Housekeeping Manager in planning and assigning daily tasks, including inventory management of supplies and equipment
Ø Perform regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained
Ø Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to address guest needs and requests in an efficient manner
Ø Manage and resolve any issues or complaints related to the cleanliness and maintenance of rooms or common areas
Ø Train and develop housekeeping staff, ensuring they are trained in hotel policies and procedures
Ø Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all work areas
Ø Participate in the evaluation of staff performance and provide constructive feedback

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Minimum 2/3 years of experience in the role 
  • High Level of Portuguese and good English is a plus
  • Hopistality degree
  • Leadership, personnel management and decision-making skills
  • Quality and customer service oriented
