ME Lisbon  is a luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of the city, part of the prestigious Meliá Hotels International group. Known for its avant-garde design and impeccable service, the hotel offers a distinctive experience for both business and leisure travellers. 

 

Your mission: Under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager and assistants, the Waiter is responsible for delivering refined, personalised and efficient service. With a strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence, you will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests. 

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experienceby anticipating needs, personalising service and exceeding expectations.

  • Present menus, respond to inquiries, and provide detailed knowledge of the food and beverage offering.

  • Accurately take orders and serve with elegance, efficiency and attention to timing.

  • Process payments in a professional and discreet manner.

  • Execute operational instructions from supervisors, supporting smooth daily operations.

  • Maintain full compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards.

  • Actively communicate guest feedback to management for continuous improvement.

 

What We Are Looking For

 

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in high-end or fine dining environments.

  • Strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.

  • High level of fluency in Portuguese and English.

  • Solid knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

  • Understanding of food handling, hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP).

  • Proactive, professional and team-oriented attitude.
