Bar Manager

 

Mission: To maintain and improve the high standard of drink service in the Bar and to ensure maximum sales increase customer satisfaction whilst adhering to the Licensing Laws.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • To ensure that staffing levels are adapted to meet business demands and the payroll costs kept within the agreed budget. To ensure that a weekly rota is completed by Tuesday of every week using the correct template provided in the general shared drive on the computer available for use.
  • To maintain an adequate stock of food and beverage, to cater for business demands and control sales. To endeavor to provide a high liquor gross profit.
  • To assist F&B management with the menu planning and new cocktails etc, for the department.
  • To train the bar staff within the department on technical and behavioral issues
  • To be involved and to implement on-going promotional events, so as to continually develop the department. This is to include the completion of “Quality Comment cards” daily to be handed in to your line manager for processing.
  • To ensure that all staff fully understands all the operational procedures within the      Bar, including the Micros system.
  • To assist in other outlets in the Hotel if required.
  • To be present, as and when required at all stock takes, and if necessary be actively involved.

 

 

What we are looking for?

  • MICROS knowledge
  • Fluency in English and additional Spanish would be beneficial
  • Prior experience is a similar role
  • The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
