What will you be doing?

 

·         To be fully conversant with all the items of food & beverage available, to be able to describe menu items in an informative & helpful manner.

·         To ensure all supplies are kept at the agreed stock levels, to assist in completing stock requisition forms & to assist in receiving supplies of stocks and checking them against the requisition order form when requested.

·         To be fully conversant with the Micros and PDQ terminal. To ensure a full understanding of the hotel’s financial policies and procedures, including cashing up procedures. To be fully responsible for all payment transactions.

·         To be fully conversant with all of the Hotel’s facilities. To have up to date product knowledge & to be aware of all current promotional activities that are being offered throughout the hotel.

·         To carry out all duties with due regard for the specifications of relevant & related legislation.

·         To carry out any reasonable & lawful direct instruction given by a Head of Department / Assistant / Manager or Director during working hours

 

What do we require?

 

  • Up 2 to 3 year experience in the role or similar
  • Organized and able to react quickly, improvising accordingly
  • Opera knowledge
  • Passion for Hotels
  • Adaptable and Flexible in terms of shifts, to reflect Business needs
  • Spanish and Italian is a plus
