Reception Supervisor
Mission: To supervise the daily shift on Reception, ensuring all Receptionists and Cashiers carry out all duties to the required standards and that all guests are attended to with the utmost courtesy.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Observe and ensure that all staff on duty are aware of the security, health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and organise all staff on the duty shift, affording maximum desk coverage at all times. Ensure that all meal breaks are taken.
- Ensure that all special requests for regular guests, VIP's and groups are actioned with guidance from the Reception Management team.
- Make all staff on duty aware of the daily availability and overbooked situations if applicable.
- Assist the Reception Management team in the implementation of new procedures and coordination of training.
- Ensure the hotel’s credit procedure is adhered to at all times, with guidance from the Reception Management team if required.
- Keep in close contact with Housekeeping and Concierge throughout the shift to follow through on all special requests made.
- Be a role inspiration to the Reception team, with great attitude, customer service skills, team work, health & safety compliance and brand standards.
What are we looking for?
· Minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a related industry
· Fluency in English
· Spanish knowledge preferable
· Knowledge of the Opera system.
The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
