About Meliá White House Hotel NW1 3UP
Meliá White House is a modern and elegantly newly refurbished hotel exceptionally located next to Regent’s Park, within a short walk from the world-renowned shopping streets of Oxford Circus & Regents Street. Reservations Supervisor
Mission: To ensure maximum possible occupancy and average room rate is achieved at all times. To ensure the efficient day to day running of the Department. To deputize in the absence of the Assistant Reservations Manager.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- To ensure that all team members are on duty as per Rota
- To ensure that all team members are carrying out their tasks as per task sheet ensuring the tasks are completed by the end of the shift.
- To monitor and manage any overbooking on room types and pay extra attention to higher room type overbooking/family rooms/Junior Suites and flag it to Reservations Manager immediately for current and future dates.
- Check the arrivals list for accuracy of the reservations including rates, correct back up, routing and investigate any duplicate bookings.
- Liaise with FO/Administrator for any outstanding back up queries to ensure closure of the bill correctly and in a timely manner
- To conduct daily morning briefings with the team and share revenue/sales initiatives as well as reinforce reservations procedures.
- To lead by example at all times and follow Melia Values when dealing with other team members as well as the guests.
- To input Apartment reservations as requested by the Apartment Sales Team.
- To assist with reporting and sharing the results with relevant departments as/if required as instructed by Reservations Manager.
- To deputize for Reservations Manager in her absence
What we seek:
- Must have experience in Reservations in a Hotel
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in English
