MISSION: Responsible for achieving the budget of Melia Luxembourg and INNSiDE Luxembourg in the segment for which they are responsible or the geographical areas to them with a vision of the business source. Attract, develop and retain accounts and carry out the actions defined in the sales action plan to achieve and exceed the quantitative and qualitative objectives in the hotel Business Plan.

Your Tasks:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets for the assigned segment and/or markets and sectors
  • Monitor the achievement of objectives with the accounts under their direct responsibility, as well as the Key, Strategic and Advanced accounts that show potential for our Melia hotels in Luxembourg
  • Preparation of the reports required for the Business Review
  • Manage yourself & assign to the team, the local accounts and opportunities not assigned to Global Account Managers. Promote our hotels to local accounts along with global MHI programmes and tools such as MeliaPro Rewards, TravelLabs, etc.
  • Sign up new local accounts and generate new business opportunities for the company
  • Receive and manage requests from account customers and respond to those requests (coordinating with the Account Manager if it is an assigned account)
  • Prepare and complete Corporate RFPs, Tour Operator Contracts, MICE Agreements, etc., and negotiate directly with the account or through the Account Manager for the account. Prepare the Business Case required to attract new accounts
  • Manage, motivate and lead the sales and groups sales department
  • Annually review the training plan with the DOS and HR, in order to propose training actions based on the needs of the team
  • Be knowledgeable of the Brand philosophy, ensuring optimal implementation of the standards, operations and identity manuals that apply to their department

 

 

What are we looking for?

  • You have a successful completed bachelor degree in Tourism, Hospitality or similar
  • You have at least three years experience in a similar position
  • You have a network of B2B, Corporate and Mice contacts
  • You are a real teamplayer, hands-on and results oriented
  • You know how to work with Opera Cloud and Mars tools
