Hotel Information
In northeastern Argentina, the Iguazú River, a tributary of the Paraná River, forms the world’s most famous waterfalls. This hotel, the only one located within Iguazú National Park, is right next to it. With outstanding views of the Iguazú Falls from its rooms, an infinity pool, and dining options, it embodies a unique experience: staying in front of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Gran Meliá Iguazú boasts a unique location in the world, RedLevel exclusivity, and Yasi Spa rituals. To access the hotel, which is located within the National Park, it is mandatory to purchase a ticket per person through the website of Iguazú National Park and show it at the hotel reception upon check-in. Guests can access the park whenever they want during their stay by making a single prior payment.

Mission of the Position
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Gran Meliá Iguazú, you will be responsible for:

The operations of the hotel: planning, coordination, management, supervision, and analysis of results across all hotel departments.

Leading and inspiring high performance in hotel teams while continuously evaluating and maintaining high-quality service and efficient work processes.

Ensuring the correct implementation of Meliá Hotels International's procedures and policies, aligned with strategic plans.
What Are We Looking For?
-
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Resident Manager or in a similar position.

Ability to lead hotel operations with a strong guest focus.
-
Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel operations.
-
A university degree, preferably in Tourism (or equivalent studies in Hospitality and Tourism).

International experience is preferred.
-
Functional knowledge of the operations of all departments.
-
Previous experience in luxury hotel management.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for excellence.

A warm and dynamic personality.
-
Demonstrated ability in Human Resources Management and Talent Development.

Knowledge of IT tools used in hotel management.
-
High geographical flexibility is preferred.
-
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.

Ability to reside in Iguazú (Misiones), Argentina.
