We are looking for a Hotel Manager for INNSiDE Aachen HOTEL
At Meliá Hotels International, we are looking for a passionate and inspiring Hotel Manager to lead the operations of INNSiDE Aachen, a dynamic city hotel with strong potential in the German market.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel, driving operational excellence, financial performance, service quality and team engagement.
We are looking for a leader who is not only focused on results, but also deeply committed to people development. Someone able to lead, mentor and inspire the hotel team, strengthening our Meliá development culture and helping our talent grow within the hotel and across the company.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead the daily hotel operations, ensuring high service standards, quality and productivity.

Implement Meliá Hotels International procedures, policies and strategic guidelines.

Participate actively in the Business Plan, budget follow-up, forecasts and business reviews.

Monitor results, identify opportunities and drive action plans to achieve business objectives.

Promote teamwork, strong communication and alignment across all departments.

Support and develop Heads of Department and managers, encouraging both short- and long-term vision.

Ensure the leadership style of the management team is aligned with Meliá’s culture.

Maintain high standards in facilities, safety, cleanliness and guest experience.

Stay strongly connected to the local market, understanding its dynamics, opportunities and business potential.
Candidate profile:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as Hotel Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a city-style hotel.

Strong knowledge of the German hotel market is essential.

Ability to build strong local connections and understand the destination’s business environment.

International experience will be highly valued.

Strong team development, leadership and talent management skills.

Solid operational knowledge across all hotel departments.

University degree in Tourism, Hospitality or similar studies is preferred.

High geographical flexibility and ability to reside in Aachen.

Fluent English and German, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
