HOTEL INFORMATION

MELIÁ SEYCHELLES - NEW OPENING RESORT HOTEL - OPENING 2025.

  • Newly built complex located on the beachfront in Mahe island.
  • The hotel will be in a complex that will have a convention center, with capacity for up to 300 people; a shopping area; a medical center and 68 serviced apartments. 
  • Resort, Luxury & Leisure Hotel.
  • 5 F&B outlets, gym, pool, Spa & rooftop. 
  • A specialty restaurant creole cuisine : Kalay.
  • Number of rooms : 120 (standards, suites & junior suites).  

 

POSITION PROFILE

Providing direct support to the Managing Director Central Europe, Middle East & Africa, you will be responsible for the operations, coordination, management, supervision and analysis of results from all Hotel Departments:

  • Direct and inspire the high performance of hotel teams continuously evaluating and maintaining high service, quality and productive processes and workflow.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of the procedures and policies of Meliá Hotels International in alignment with the strategic plans.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in General Manager positions within a resort upscale resort.
  • Experience in Leisure - High End Resorts is mandatory.
  • Experience in Luxury Hospitality.
  • Experience in management contracts (reporting to owners/properties).
  • Experience in remote destinations. 
  • Profile with the ability to work with autonomy.
  • Operational focus, problem solving skills to manage with the challenges of the area, calm and social/team working to be close to the team and properties.
  • Functional knowledge of all department operations.
  • English is mandatory, French & Spanish desirable. 
  • Proven ability in Human Resources Management & Talent Development.
  • Knowledge of IT tools used in hotel management.
  • Able to reside in Seychelles.
