Mission: As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing team members to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for our guests. You are you are driven by fanatical attention to detail, and are committed to ensuring set standards are met and expectations are exceeded. The chosen candidate will optimize quality to the highest-level and provide a safe and clean environment for our guests.
What will I be doing:
- Assists the Manager in regularly monitoring staff performance against agreed criteria.
- Communicates positively with team members to ensure effective team work and high morale.
- Trains housekeeping attendants according to the standard laid down by the company.
- Opens shifts and assigns staff to designated areas.
- Ensure that all staff follow the same procedures and report any training needed.
- Check all allocated areas thoroughly and take immediate action to correct any faults.
- Ensure that guest’s requests are completed within a few minutes.
- Communicate to the relevant department any complaints or time delays on general service.
- Prevent the abuse and/or destruction of company property.
- Be fully aware of all Health and Safety and security procedures and follow these at all times.
- Participates in housekeeping inventories.
- Ensure that no chemical, toiletries and amenity wastage is allowed.
- May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
- Performs other cleaning duties as required.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the field or in the hospitality industry.
- Must be customer service driven and detailed oriented.
- Must be a team player and have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
