🎯 JOB OBJECTIVE

Lead and manage the Housekeeping and, where applicable, Laundry/Valet operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, team performance, and effective cost control.

✨ WHAT WILL YOU DO?

🏨 Operations: Oversee daily Housekeeping operations and ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet hotel and brand standards.

✨ Quality & Guest Experience: Conduct regular inspections, ensure VIP rooms are 100% ready, handle guest complaints, and drive continuous service improvement.

👥 Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and motivate the team while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.

📅 Staffing: Manage staff rosters, daily briefings, work assignments, grooming, uniforms, and manpower according to business needs.

💰 Budget & Cost Control: Support budgeting and forecasting, control departmental expenses, and optimize the use of resources.

🧺 Linen & Supplies: Manage linen, uniforms, guest supplies, cleaning materials, equipment, inventory, purchasing, and storage.

🔧 Maintenance & Safety: Coordinate with Engineering, Laundry, Pest Control, and other departments to ensure smooth operations, preventive maintenance, and safe working conditions.

🔑 Security & Compliance: Ensure proper control of master keys, Lost & Found, emergency procedures, fire safety, and hotel policies.

📋 Standards & Documentation: Maintain SOPs, training manuals, renovation records, reports, and operational documentation.

🤝 Collaboration: Work closely with Front Office and other departments to coordinate room status, guest arrivals/departures, special requests, and hotel activities.

🌿 Guest & Public Areas: Ensure proper care of flowers, plants, room setup, decorations, and overall presentation of the hotel.

📊 Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry and competitor standards and recommend improvements in equipment, cleaning methods, and operational practices.

🌟 Manager on Duty: Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities when assigned.

🔎 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

🎓 Education: Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.

💼 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar Housekeeping position in a 5-star/deluxe hotel; international hotel experience is preferred.

🧹 Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals, flooring, carpets, linen, equipment, and hotel standards.

👑 Leadership: Strong team leadership, communication, coaching, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

💻 Computer: Good computer skills and administrative ability.

🇻🇳 Vietnamese: Excellent written and spoken.

🇬🇧 English: Good written and spoken.

❤️ Profile: Guest-focused, organized, cost-conscious, fair, disciplined, and able to lead by example.

🌟 Internal Candidates: Minimum 1 year in a similar position in a hotel of comparable category and services.
