Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily stewarding operations to ensure smooth support for all F&B outlets and events.
- Lead, train, and schedule stewarding team members in line with hotel standards.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas.
- Manage inventory and stock control of operating equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Oversee dishwashing operations, waste management, and sanitation procedures.
- Coordinate setup and breakdown for banquets and events, ensuring all equipment is ready and properly handled.
- Control usage of materials and support cost efficiency within the department.
- Coordinate with Engineering and vendors for maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support team development, training, and a positive working environment.
- Ensure stewarding operations fully support high-quality guest experience and F&B service standards.
Requirements
- University degree or higher education in Hospitality, Tourism, or Culinary Arts.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in 4–5 star hotel operations.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Good understanding of kitchen operations, buffet setup, event presentation, and basic culinary standards.
- Familiar with hotel operations and stewarding procedures in a luxury or upscale environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and basic operational reporting.
- Strong leadership ability with experience in supervising and training operational staff.
- Up to date with F&B and hospitality trends, especially in hygiene and service presentation.
- Fluent in English and local language (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail, discipline, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
