We are seeking a Reservation Manager to join our team at Meliá Serenity Cam Ranh Beach Resort, based in Cam Lam, Khanh Hoa (Vietnam).
MISSION
To implement strategic and effective yield management practices and actively contribute to revenue growth through the efficient leadership of the Reservations Department. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Sales & Marketing function by providing accurate, up-to-date information on both the internal reservation status and the external market environment in which the hotel operates.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Reservations Department.
- Manage room inventory, including allocation and reservations, to maximize revenue and manage blackout dates.
- Monitor sales programs, promotions, and advertising campaigns, and provide relevant feedback to appropriate departments.
- Supervise the tracking and maintenance of guest history data by the Front Office team.
- Create and manage allotments effectively.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of guest history records and client profiles in the database.
- Monitor and track market codes to support revenue strategies.
- Load and maintain room rates in the Meliá reservation system, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
- Collect, maintain, and distribute relevant data and information from internal and external sources (e.g., consultants, economic forecasts).
- Manage hotel bank and GDS close/open dates, where applicable.
- Prepare and submit end-of-month sales reports.
- Ensure all group bookings are properly contracted.
- Access, analyze, and interpret sales and marketing data to support decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management, as required.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within large hotels or international companies.
- Strong understanding of local culture and international service standards to deliver effective client solutions.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken)
